Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Startup Forum
The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Startup Forum is an initiative aimed at broadening startup interactions, fostering an environment conducive to innovation, promoting job creation, and inspiring young talent to develop innovative solutions among the SCO Member States.
शंघाई सहयोग संगठन (एससीओ) स्टार्टअप फोरम एक पहल है जिसका उद्देश्य स्टार्टअप इंटरैक्शन को व्यापक बनाना, नवाचार के लिए अनुकूल माहौल को बढ़ावा देना, रोजगार सृजन को बढ़ावा देना और एससीओ सदस्य देशों के बीच अभिनव समाधान विकसित करने के लिए युवा प्रतिभा को प्रेरित करना है।
SCO Startup Forum 4.0 in New Delhi
The 4th edition of the SCO Startup Forum was organized on 19th March 2024 in New Delhi, India. The event witnessed physical participation from SCO Member States delegations including startups, nodal agencies, government officials, and diplomats.
एससीओ स्टार्टअप फोरम का चौथा संस्करण 19 मार्च 2024 को नई दिल्ली, भारत में आयोजित किया गया था। इस कार्यक्रम में स्टार्टअप, नोडल एजेंसियों, सरकारी अधिकारियों और राजनयिकों सहित एससीओ सदस्य राज्यों के प्रतिनिधिमंडलों की भौतिक भागीदारी देखी गई।
Key Highlights
- Keynote address by Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), highlighting the role of startups in boosting the economy. / उद्योग और आंतरिक व्यापार संवर्धन विभाग (डीपीआईआईटी) के सचिव का मुख्य भाषण, जिसमें अर्थव्यवस्था को बढ़ावा देने में स्टार्टअप की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला गया।
- Showcase opportunity for over 15 SCO startups to exhibit their products and services. / 15 से अधिक एससीओ स्टार्टअप के लिए अपने उत्पादों और सेवाओं को प्रदर्शित करने का अवसर।
- Workshop on ‘Establishing a Seed Fund’ by Startup India. / स्टार्टअप इंडिया द्वारा ‘सीड फंड की स्थापना’ पर कार्यशाला।
- Agreement to create a Special Working Group for Startups and Innovation (SWG) under India’s permanent chairmanship. / भारत की स्थायी अध्यक्षता में स्टार्टअप और इनोवेशन के लिए एक विशेष कार्य समूह (एसडब्ल्यूजी) बनाने पर समझौता।

India has organized various initiatives to empower the startup ecosystems of SCO Member States:

Future Plans / भविष्य की योजनाएं
India will host the second meeting of the SWG in November 2024 and the SCO Startup Forum 5.0 in January 2025, further strengthening the collaboration and support for the startup ecosystems of SCO Member States.
भारत नवंबर 2024 में एसडब्ल्यूजी की दूसरी बैठक और जनवरी 2025 में एससीओ स्टार्टअप फोरम 5.0 की मेजबानी करेगा, जो एससीओ सदस्य राज्यों के स्टार्टअप पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र के लिए सहयोग और समर्थन को और मजबूत करेगा।
