The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has recently issued Advertisement No. 39 of 2023-24 for the recruitment of Finance and Accounts Officers in Urban Local Bodies of the Odisha Municipal Finance Service Cadre (Group-A) under the Housing & Urban Development Department.

Eligibility Criteria / पात्रता मापदंड
Age Limit / आयु सीमा
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years as on January 1, 2024. The upper age limit is relaxable for certain categories as per the rules.
1 जनवरी, 2024 को उम्मीदवार की आयु 21 वर्ष होनी चाहिए और 38 वर्ष से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए। नियमों के अनुसार कुछ श्रेणियों के लिए ऊपरी आयु सीमा में छूट है।

Educational Qualification / शैक्षणिक योग्यता
A candidate must be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University along with Completed CA under ICAI or CWA from ICWAI. He/She must also have basic computer operating knowledge for making data entry in MS Word and Excel formats.
उम्मीदवार को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से किसी भी विषय में स्नातक होने के साथ-साथ ICAI के तहत CA या ICWAI से CWA पूरा होना चाहिए। एमएस वर्ड और एक्सेल फॉर्मेट में डेटा एंट्री करने के लिए उसके पास बुनियादी कंप्यूटर ऑपरेटिंग ज्ञान भी होना चाहिए।

The examination fee for all categories of candidates has been exempted.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of a Written Examination (400 marks) and Personality Test/Interview (50 marks).
