This move aims to benefit around 12 Lakh Insured Workers and beneficiaries residing in the districts of Alwar, Khairthal-Tijara, Kothputilli-Behror, Bharatpur, and Deeg by enhancing access to medical care and cash benefits through ESIC.

Expansion of Medical Infrastructure
Approval was granted for the construction of 7 new ESI Hospitals in various locations such as Harohalli, Narsapura, Bommasandra (Karnataka), Merrut, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), Pithampur (Madhya Pradesh), and Duburi (Odisha) during the meeting. The total estimated cost for these projects amounts to Rs.1128.21 crore. बैठक के दौरान हारोहल्ली, नरसापुरा, बोम्मसंद्रा (कर्नाटक), मेरठ, बरेली (उत्तर प्रदेश), पीथमपुर (मध्य प्रदेश) और दुबुरी (ओडिशा) जैसे विभिन्न स्थानों में 7 नए ईएसआई अस्पतालों के निर्माण को मंजूरी दी गई। इन परियोजनाओं की कुल अनुमानित लागत 1128.21 करोड़ रुपये है। इन अस्पतालों से ईएसआईसी के मौजूदा चिकित्सा देखभाल बुनियादी ढांचे में 800 बिस्तर जोड़ने की उम्मीद है, जिससे बीमित श्रमिकों और उनके परिवारों के लिए स्वास्थ्य देखभाल की पहुंच में और सुधार होगा।
Vision for Enhanced Healthcare Delivery
The decisions made during the meeting align with the vision for Viksit Bharat to strengthen the medical and cash benefits delivery infrastructure. With a significant increase in the number of districts and Insured Workers covered under the ESI Scheme over the past decade, reaching 666 districts and 3.43 crore Insured Workers respectively, these initiatives mark a crucial step towards expanding healthcare services and ensuring comprehensive coverage for beneficiaries.
